Add Dependency To Firebase Library

Open [YOUR_PROJECT_DIRECTORY]/app/build.gradle

apply plugin: 'com.android.application'

Add Permission To AndroidManifest

Add internet permission to the android manifest file.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    package="com.firebase.chatapp">

    <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" />

    <application
        android:allowBackup="true"
        android:icon="@drawable/firebase_logo"
        android:label="@string/app_name"
        android:theme="@style/AppBaseTheme">
        <activity
            android:name="com.devdeeds.firebaseauth.LoginActivity"
            android:label="@string/title_activity_login">
            <intent-filter>

            android:name="com.devdeeds.firebaseauth.RegisterActivity"
            android:label="@string/title_activity_register" />
        <activity
            android:name="com.devdeeds.firebaseauth.HomeActivity"
            android:label="@string/title_activity_home" />
